Clerigos Church is one of the most memorable sights in Porto. Its bell tower Torre dos Clerigos is a symbol of Porto and is visible from almost anywhere in the city. The Clerigos church was built for the brotherhood of mendicant clerics by the Italian architect Niccolò Nasoni (he is buried here in a small chapel). The temple has an oval layout and was built from 1732 to 1750. in baroque style. The main facade of the church impresses with an abundance of decorations in the form of garlands, stucco, carvings, pilasters and statues of saints.→
