The majestic palace of the 15th century, which was once the residence of the Dukes of Bragana, amazes with its grandeur and monumentality at first sight. Its towers and cylindrical brick chimneys can be seen from almost anywhere in the historic city center. Now there is a museum in this palace, the entrance ticket to which will cost you 5 euros. Not far from it there is a monument to the first king of Portugal, Afonso Henriques, and there is a medieval castle of Guimarã es.
