The Sanctuary of Bon Jesus do Monti is located outside the city of Braga, on a high hill surrounded by beautiful nature. You can get to the temple on foot by stairs, by car or by an old funicular that has been operating since 1882. The whole complex, consisting of a church, a huge staircase and several buildings, impresses with beauty and harmony. There is an unusually peaceful atmosphere, and the view of the city is simply mesmerizing. The central place in this complex is occupied by the Cathedral of Christ, the interior of which is richly decorated.→
