Wilanow Palace, Palace in Wilanow
Poland, Warsaw
Wilanów Palace is one of the most harmonious palace and park ensembles of its time. The palace was built in 1677 as a country residence of King Jan III Sobieski. On the territory of the palace complex of 45 hectares, you can see picturesque gardens decorated in several styles: a two-level baroque garden, English and Anglo-Chinese landscape gardens, as well as a neo-Renaissance rose garden. The original interiors of the palace have been restored, almost in their original form. Now the palace houses a functioning museum, often receptions, concerts and symposiums are held in its majestic halls.
