Trakt, memory of the struggle and martyrdom of the Jews
Trakt Pamięci Męczeństwa i Walki Żydów, Memorial Route of Jewish Struggle and Martydrom
Poland, Warsaw
The “Tract, in memory of the struggle and martyrdom of the Jews”, which arose in 1943, is an alley of memory with memorial plates in honor of the Jews who died during the years of military repression. The road starts from the Umschlagplatz monument, located at the former ghetto transfer point, where the Nazis brought Jews sentenced to death before being sent to the Treblinka concentration camp, and leads to the monument “In Memory of the Ghetto Heroes”.
