Market Square of the New Town
Rynek Nowego Miasta, Market Square in New Town
Poland, Warsaw
The "Market Square of the New City" appeared in 1408 simultaneously with the development of the "New City" area. The original building of the square, practically, did not survive as a result of hostilities. After the end of the Second World War, the ruined buildings of the "Market Square" were restored to their original medieval form. At present, life is in full swing on the square, as in ancient times: locals and tourists walk, fairs are organized, live music does not stop, numerous cafes and shops offer their services.
