The "Benedictine Monastery of Sakramentok" at the Church of St. Casimir is located in the center of Warsaw on "
New Town Market Square".
The monastery is a valuable example of the Baroque architecture of Poland, and together with the Church of St. Casimir form a single architectural ensemble. During the Second World War, the monastery served as a refuge for local residents, and a hospital was also located here. The hostilities caused significant damage to the architecture of the monastery and the church. After the end of the war, work to restore the exterior and interior of the monastery continued for about 7 years.
