Each city has its own symbol (even if not official), but in Poznan they chose - butting goats! According to legend, it was 2 goats who saved the city by climbing up the mountain (or the town hall according to one of the options) to escape from the butcher's knife. When the owner took them off, he noticed from a height an enemy army approaching the city and was able to warn the inhabitants in time, who successfully organized the defense. Since then, the goats have appeared on the coat of arms of the city and have generally been replicated in various forms.→
