In the very center of Poznan, south of the Old Market Square, one of the most remarkable baroque architectural monuments in Poland is located. The Church of St. Stanislaus the Bishop is also known as the Poznań Fara. The term “farny” (Pfarrei, “parish”), that is, parish, belonging only to the parish, and not to any monastic order. Finding this church is easy. From Stary Rynok Square, walk one block to the south, along Sventoslavskaya Street (1 Golomba Street). Construction began in 1649, the developers were the Order of the Jesuits.→
