Zamoyski Palace, Palac Zamoyskich
Poland, Lublin
The Zamoyski Palace is a luxurious baroque palace and park ensemble located in a small village near Ljubljana. The construction of the palace took place from 1736 to 1742 under the leadership of the Italian architect Josef Fontana. During the Second World War, a museum began to function on the territory of the complex, in which, miraculously, it was possible to preserve original interior and everyday items, a collection of paintings, family heirlooms of the Zamoyski family. For 20 years now, the first and only exhibition in Poland dedicated to the era of socialist realism has been running in the Carriage House on the territory of the park complex.
