Chojnowski Gate Tower (Wieza Bramy Chojnowskiej) was built in the 15th century. It was part of the fortifications that surrounded the medieval city. These fortifications appeared around Legnica in the 14th century and were rebuilt and fortified many times over the following years. And the tower itself was once part of the gate on Chojnowskiej street. Over the centuries, the defensive complex, along with the tower, has undergone many transformations and adaptations. Despite this, there are visible traces of shooting ranges (the walls are damaged), almost everything has been preserved, even some of the original window openings.→
