Located in the historical center of Krakow, the building, which looks like a medieval castle, invariably attracts the attention of tourists. Designed to house the fire brigade, the Neo-Gothic building was built at the end of the 19th century according to the design of the famous Polish architect Maciej Moraczewski on the initiative of the then mayor Mikołaj Ziblikiewicz. The complex included barracks for officers and firefighters, stables, garages for vehicles, ambulance rooms, workshops, and a gym. The fire service operates here to this day.

The building, resembling a medieval castle, always attracts tourists. Built in 1877-1879 in a non-Gothic style designed by Maciej Moraczewski on the initiative of the then president Ziblikevych to accommodate the fire brigade. The complex of buildings included barracks for officers and firefighters, stables, garages for transport, ambulances, workshops, gym. The house is still used by the fire service. It is included in the Krakow Technology Route.
