Eros Bound is a sculpture created by Polish artist Igor Mitoraj and installed in Market Square in 2003. Its other name has taken root among the people - “Head”, since it is a huge bandaged male head lying on its side. As conceived by the author, the sculpture symbolizes passionate love, from which people "lose their heads." "Bound Eros" attracts many tourists - you can even climb inside it, since the sculpture is hollow.

For lovers of non-trivial sculpture
A bronze figure called "Eros Bendato", by the famous Polish artist Igor Mitoraj, is located in the very center of Krakow, on the Market Square. This is a gift to the city from the author. The municipality thought for a long time where to find such a valuable gift (and the work is estimated at half a million euros), and left it standing (or rather lying: ) in the central square. The sculpture has already acquired legends and traditions, according to one of which, girls who really want to get married should make their wish to Eros and then it will definitely come true.→

The strangest figure in the square
Among the Catholic churches and historical sights stands (or rather lies) the most unusual monument of Krakow - a monument to the head. This creation is called “Bound Eros” and symbolizes the head lost from love, although it reminds me more of a severed one on the scaffold ...It is interesting that you can go inside the head and look out of her eye for example ...hmm ...They say that originally the inhabitants of Krakow were very dissatisfied with this work of art on the main square of their city, but apparently then they got used to it and fell in love with it.→
