The monument was unveiled on the 90th anniversary of Poland's independence on November 10.2008. The author of the monument is a sculptor Cheslav Dzvigai. The monument consists of three parts: a sculpture of a marshal, a sculptural group of legionnaires and a flagpole. At the feet of the marshal - a flying Polish eagle. The sculptural group depicts legionnaires marching from the Krakow Oleanders. On the pedestal is the chorus of their song "We, the first brigade". The flagpole is wrapped in a garland of laurels and roses.→
