Schindler's Factory Museum
Muzeum Fabryka Oskar Schindlera, Oskar Schindler's Factory Museum
Poland, Krakow
Since 2010, the Schindler's Factory Museum has been operating in the building of the former enamelware factory, which is dedicated to the Nazi occupation of Krakow during World War II and the German industrialist Oskar Schindler, who saved many Jews. Here you can learn about the daily life of the local population during the occupation, about the history of the factory and the life story of Schindler, as well as about the fate of Polish Jews and the list of people saved by Schindler. The museum exposition presents archival documents, photographs, memoirs, drawings, objects and belongings of prisoners, as well as evidence of the terrible living conditions in concentration camps.
