The Pilsudski Mound is an artificial mound created in 1934-1937 in Krakow. Named after Jozef Pilsudski, Polish national leader and independence fighter. This is the largest of the four artificial mounds in Krakow.

In 1934, the Association of Polish Legionnaires proposed to build a monument to Poland's independence. The construction of the bulk mountain was completed on July 9, 1937. To create bulk used soil from the battlefields in which the Poles fought.
