A majestic building with a large dome, built at the end of the 19th century in the Neo-Renaissance style, designed by Polish architects Tadeusz Strizhensky and Wladyslaw Ekilsky to house a shelter for boys of the Catholic faith. During the First World War, a hospital was located within its walls, and during the Second World War, units of the fascist invaders. In 1952, the building was transferred to the Krakow University of Economics and is now its main building. Above the entrance is the motto in Latin "Ora et labora" ("Pray and work").

The pompous Neo-Renaissance building with a large dome was designed by architects Tadeusz Stryż enski and Wł adysł aw Ekilski in 1893 to house a shelter for boys of the Catholic faith from all over Galicia. The shelter was maintained at the expense of Prince Alexander Lubomirsky. During the First World War, a hospital was set up here, and during the Second World War, units of the occupiers were located. In 1952 the building was transferred to the University of Economics and is now its main building.
