The small basilica, the Catholic baroque church of the monastery of the Order of St. Paul, the church consecrated in the name of Archangel Michael and St. Archbishop Stanislaw Szczepanowski - the most interesting place of worship in the historic district of Kazimierz in Krakow. There is a monument on Skalechna Street on the territory of the monastery. The building is briefly referred to as the Pauline Church on Skalka. This is the third surviving temple building on the site of the previous two. The first church of the Archangel Michael on Skalka, a Romanesque rotunda, was built in the X-XI centuries on the site of a pagan Vistula temple on the high bank of the Vistula.→
