St. Wojciech's Church is a Roman Catholic church in the center of Krakow, located in the Old Town on the Market Square. One of the smallest, as well as the oldest churches in the city, dates from the XI century. The church was originally built in the Romanesque style, but in the 17th and 18th centuries it was rebuilt in the Baroque style. The church is named after St. Wojciech, a missionary bishop from the Czech Republic, who traditionally preached at this place on the way to Prussia (now northern Poland), where he was sent to baptize its inhabitants.→
