The late Baroque church with Rococo elements was designed by the famous Polish architect Casper Bazanka on the model of the Roman church of Il Gesu. The church was built in 1718-1728. The facade of the church - the work of Italian architect Francesco Placidi - was built in 1759-1761. The temple is built in the shape of a rectangle with one nave and side chapels. The walls of the interior are painted with polychrome by two Moravian artists, Franciszek Eckstein and Jó zef Piltz, who have worked in Cracow since 1733.→
