In the second half of the XVI century the house belonged to the family of Prosper Provanni, who in 1558 at the behest of King Casimir Augustus organized a regular postal service between Krakow and Venice. Since then, the house is decorated with a beautiful Renaissance portal, with massive columns. A Latin inscription above the entrance reads: "Let this house stand until the ant drinks the sea, and the turtle travels around the world. " At the beginning of the 19th century, the Burchynski family, who owned the house at the time, opened a hotel here.→
