The Jewish Museum "Galicia" is dedicated to the culture, history and daily life of Jews in the territory of Galicia, southern Poland, and also demonstrates the huge contribution of the Jewish people to the economy and culture of the Polish state. The museum exposition presents newsreels, photographs, recorded memories and household items of Jews. A significant part of the exhibition tells about the Holocaust and the life of Jews in the
Auschwitz concentration camp, as well as the people who helped them survive. Periodically, the Jewish Museum hosts meetings, seminars, temporary exhibitions, as well as klezmer music concerts. The museum houses a small bookstore and cafe.
