The first name was the Krasinski Palace, later the Gutten-Czapski Palace. In 1883, Hubert Anthony Krasinski, a physician and public figure, moved to Krakow from his estate in Ukraine and began building a neo-Renaissance palace designed by Anthony Sidek. Construction was completed in 1884. The owner lived here until his death in 1890. In 1894, the palace was purchased by collector Emerick Gutten-Chapsky, who housed a large collection (more than 11.000 coins, orders, medals and drawings) and moved a large library from his family estate.→
