Mielno is a coastal town in Koszalin County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northwestern Poland. This area is called Gmina Mielno. It is located about 12 km northwest of Koszalin and 135 km northeast of the regional capital Szczecin. It was here that we came to see the Polish sea, to wet our feet, so to speak. The Poles have a tradition - in the winter to the mountains (their own), in the summer to the sea (their own), at least not for long. So we rushed to the Baltic Sea for a day. We expected to see something like Berdyansk or Skadovsk, but we saw something more.→
