small mill

Maly Mlyn, Maly Mlyn, Maliy Mlyn
Poland, Gdansk
The Small Mill is a small granary attached to the Large Mill in Gdansk, Poland. This three-story building, made of red crushed and solid bricks, like many buildings of that time, is made in the Gothic style. In the 14th century, it was used to store processed products, and it also housed the manager's house and a bakery. Today, the Association of Polish Fishermen is located here.

Small Mlyn was installed as a vault over the Raduniya canal, dug in the middle of the 14th century, near the church of St. Catherine. The Gothic brick building with a gabled, tiled roof was built around 1400. It did not act as a mill, it served as a granary from the Great Mill located on the opposite side. Restored after the Second World War, it houses, among others, the Gdań sk branch of the Polish Fishing Association.
