The new building of the City Hall was officially opened in 1950. The interior decoration of the halls is designed in the traditions of Norwegian culture, which preaches the closeness of man and nature. Address: Radhusplassen 1. Admission is free. Pay attention to the Main Hall, which you will enter immediately from the entrance. In fact, this is more of a main hall. So, this place is notable for the fact that it is here, in the presence of the King of Norway and members of the royal family, that the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded.
