The Vigeland Sculpture Park is located in the west of Oslo in the Frogner district. It was created by the Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigeland for more than thirty years. The Vigeland Sculpture Park impresses with its unusualness. Some people think that it is worth visiting Oslo at least once in your life just for the sake of it. In my opinion, everyone can find something interesting here. The exposition of the park includes more than two hundred sculptural compositions, personifying certain states of a person at various stages of life. This park is considered the largest collection of sculptures by one master in the open air on the planet.

Vigeland worked on the design of his park for about 40 years and did not live only a year before its official opening. As a result, 192 sculptural groups appeared, uniting 670 human figures, showing not only the path of a person that he goes through from birth to death, but also the feelings experienced by different generations. Each of the sculptor's works has its own inimitable symbolism! One of the most striking impressions is made by the 17-meter stone Monolith, composed of intertwined bodies.

A large beautiful park with lawns, lakes, etc. , the main feature of which is a huge number of sculptures and entire sculptural compositions of people of all ages - and only naked. Actually, the park is named after the sculptor who created all this beauty back in the 20-40s. Walking in such a park is definitely more interesting than just walking in a park with lawns : )
