The National Gallery of Art is located in the heart of Oslo within walking distance of the Royal Palace and the Parliament. The building is small and does not shine with architecture; it was built according to the project of the architect Schirmer and his son in 1882. The museum is part of the National Museum of Norway. You can’t take pictures in the halls, bags are required to be handed over to the storage room, in general, the procedures are quite strict. Visitors, to put it mildly, are few. The basis of the exposition is Norwegian romantic painting and the works of the Impressionists.→
