On an area of .3. 2 hectares in the Netherlands, half an hour from Amsterdam, is the royal park Kokenhoff. A sea of flowers, in the open air and in several pavilions, will delight the eyes of both adults and children. Keukenhof is the royal flower park in the Netherlands. Also known as the Garden of Europe. Located almost on the coast between Amsterdam and The Hague in the small town of Lisse. You can get from Amsterdam on an organized tour or from the airport there is a direct bus to this park. It is better to visit in the morning, because by lunchtime the number of visitors increases dramatically.

At the word Holland, associations with cheeses and tulips immediately arise: ) If cheeses are delicious, then flowers are beautiful. Let's talk about beautiful : ) Well, if it’s beautiful, then it’s impossible to ignore the Royal Flower Park - Keukenhof. In fact, the name of the royal flower park Keukenhof, located near the town of Lisse in the Netherlands, translates as "Kitchen Park". However, the "kitchen" of the park attracts so many tourists that many publicized points can sincerely envy! Considering that the park is open only 2 months a year and over 800 thousand tourists visit it in this short period, then perhaps these are records of visits! Just imagine - about half a million visitors a month! Here's a "kitchen park" for you : ) To paint the beauty and uniqueness of the park is not a very rewarding occupation, because the beautiful must first of all be seen! For those who are going to visit this unique flower paradise, I can give you some advice.

You can talk about Holland for a very long time. What is the park of flower splendor worth - Keukenhof. Once here, you lose your sense of reality from the unreality of what you see around. A variety of flowers and flower arrangements, a riot of colors and smells, flower rivers running away into the distance, swans in a pond - this simply takes your breath away. And in the pavilions there are exhibitions of orchids, lilies, gerberas. Many thanks to the people who created all this magnificence. Of course there are a lot of people, and also a day off.

A flower fairy tale is how you can describe this park. 25 km. from Amsterdam. Incredible beauty!! ! A visit to this magical place will give you a lot of unforgettable experiences. So much beauty in one place that sometimes you can't believe your eyes. A million flowers, fresh air with their fragrant aroma. Feeling the absolute unreality of everything around. I have never seen such a quantity and variety of flowers. Plus an exhibition of orchids in the pavilion. You will need a whole day to visit all corners of the park and take photos of all the flowers.

The history of the park began in the 19th century, but the first Keukenhof flower show was held in 1949 and has been repeated every year since March to May. Moreover, every year designers come up with a new theme for the exposition; in 2015, the work of Vincent van Gogh became such a theme. 32 hectares of continuous flower delight! About 4.5 million tulips in 100 different varieties - yellow tulips, red tulips, white tulips, different tulips...A real tulip paradise! There are also several pavilions displaying chrysanthemums, carnations, orchids and various flower arrangements.
