A small "Tulip Museum" in Amsterdam appeared in 2004, it is located in the historic center of the city in the
Jordaan area. The museum keeps all the historical ins and outs of tulips: how they were brought to Holland from Turkey, interesting facts about "tupan mania" in the Netherlands during the Golden Age, when bulbs of rare varieties were worth their weight in gold, as well as about the peculiarities of growing these amazing flowers. The museum premises consist of seven exhibition halls, a flower club and a gift shop. The interior decor of the museum is thematically decorated using the symbols of various types of tulips.
