Van Loon Museum
Museum Van Loon
Netherlands, Amsterdam
The Van Loon House Museum is a 19th-century mansion on the banks of the Keizersgracht canal.
The interior of the museum reflects the layout of the houses of the Golden Age of Holland, with its exquisite antique furniture, silver and porcelain decorative elements, collections of family portraits.
The museum contains works by prominent artists of the 18th century, and not infrequently modern exhibitions are held within its walls. The territory of the house-museum includes a picturesque French garden, where opera concerts are often held in the warm season.
