Museum of the Resistance
Verzetsmuseum, Museum of the Resistance
Netherlands, Amsterdam
The Verzets Museum or the Resistance Museum was founded in 1984 in the Plantag district as a tribute to the resistance movement in the Netherlands during World War II. Here are collected photographs and films dedicated to the events of those years, historical papers and documents, weapons, as well as reconstructions of significant events reflecting the activities of members of the Resistance movement. A separate part of the exhibition is devoted to the history of the Holocaust in the Netherlands.
