The world-famous Concertgebouw Concert Hall has no equal in terms of sound and acoustics. The first performance of the orchestra within its walls took place in 1888. It hosts: opera performances, jazz and classical concerts, musical performances for children, performances by contemporary performers and young talents. The Concertgebouw provides excellent conditions for the sound of not only classical works - at one time Led Zeppelin and Pink Floid performed on its stage.
