Museum Het Rembrandthuis, Rembrandt House Museum
Netherlands, Amsterdam
The Rembrandt House Museum is an art museum on the Jodenbreestraat in the Jewish Quarter of Amsterdam. The museum opened in 1911 in a house that Rembrandt bought at the height of his fame in 1639 and lived in until his bankruptcy in 1656.
The exposition of the museum is the most complete collection of graphic works by Rembrandt. Here are 260 of the 290 etchings by the artist.
