Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, Kuala Lumpur Bird Park
Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur
Established in 1991, Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is located in the Lake Gardens and is the world's largest open air aerial area, covering an area of over 8 hectares. More than 2,000 birds have been collected in the park, some of them were donated by citizens and embassies of foreign countries. The park is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Malaysia and is visited by about 200,000 people every year.
The main difference of the bird park is the concept of "free flight", that is, most of the birds are outside the cages and aviaries. The entire territory of the park is covered with a net fixed on poles.
