Central Market, Central Market, Pasar Seni
Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur
The central market, founded in 1888, was at first an ordinary food market - fish, fruits and vegetables were sold here. In 1937, a new building was built for the market, which gradually settled dealers in art and souvenirs from all over Malaysia.
Now you can buy Indian saris, Indonesian batik, and Chinese jade on the market. The market is located in the heart of old Kuala Lumpur, not far from Chinatown.
