Xel-Ha Natural Water Park - "the birthplace of water" - is located on the Yukotan Peninsula, 115 km from Cancun. This is a former port city, a resting place for the Mayan rulers. The water park was created near a natural lagoon, in which sea water borders on the water of rivers flowing into the lagoon. Here you can go diving, snorkeling, play with dolphins, jump from a bungee or from a 5-meter cliff, go hiking in the jungle, visit the grotto of the moon goddess Ixchel and the Eldorado grotto, walk along the seabed in a diving suit in the company of dolphins and rays. Admirers of ancient history are invited to see the ruins of a Mayan settlement of the 1st-6th centuries. Those looking for a relaxing holiday can wander among the magnificent trees, admiring exotic birds and enjoying peace and quiet, and then take a steam bath in a traditional temazcal Indian bath. For the youngest visitors there is a special children's entertainment area.
