St. Paul's Cathedral is an Anglican neoclassical cathedral in Valletta. The initiator of its construction is the English Queen Adelaide, who, during her visit to the island in the 19th century, learned about the absence of an Anglican church there. Construction began on March 20, 1839 and was completed in 1844.
The cathedral is located on Independence Square. The main facade, decorated with Corinthian columns, is about 60 m high. The cathedral is not a cathedral, belonging to the diocese of Gibraltar.
