Hal Saflieni is a megalithic underground sanctuary (hypogeum) in the city of Paola. Represents 34 rooms, hollowed out in the thickness of limestone. World Heritage Site since 1980. The beginning of the construction of Khal Saflieni dates back to 4000 BC.
