The aqueduct in Stary Bar is located in the northern part of the historical center and was built during the reign of the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century. The aqueduct is a stone bridge passing over the valley, and served to supply water from a spring on Mount Rumia. The water bridge consists of 17 large arches supported by 18 columns, pipes are placed at the top of the structure. In 1979, during the earthquake, the aqueduct was completely destroyed, but a few years later it was restored and repaired.
