Koutoubia Moscow
Morocco, Marrakesh
The main sacred relic and symbol of the city of Marrakesh - the Koutoubia Mosque is one of the highest mosques in Africa, thanks to its minaret about 80 meters high. The construction of the mosque began during the reign of the Almohad dynasty in the 12th century, and continued for more than 30 years. During this time, the architectural appearance of the mosque has been modified and rebuilt several times. The modern architectural style of the mosque is a combination of traditional Moroccan and Andalusian architecture.
The impressive territory of the mosque "Kutubiya" is surrounded by a beautiful garden and park complex.
