Near the street Skarnia, between the church of St. Peter and the complex "Konventa s? ta» stands a monument to legendary Bremen musicians: a donkey, a dog, a cat and a rooster. Despite the fact that it is dedicated to the characters of the famous fairy tale of the Brothers Grimm, the monument has a political undertone. The author of the monument is Christa Baumgartel, a sculptor from Bremen. Although the monument is dedicated to the heroes of the fairy tale, it has a deep political meaning. The sculpture was created during the reconstruction, and the Bremen four look not through the window at the robbers' feast, but behind the iron curtain.→
