Located near the capital of Kenya, Nairobi National Park is one of the oldest and largest parks in the country. The rich variety of plant and animal species of the park reproduces the natural environment of the African savannah. In addition, crocodiles, rhinos, elephants and more than fifty hippos live in the park.
The Nairobi National Park has a shelter and a veterinary clinic for sick and injured animals. Since 1977, the Wildlife Foundation has been located on the territory of the park, where educational events and lectures are often held.
