Ueno park

Ueno Park
Japan, Tokyo
Ueno Park is located in the northeastern part of the city. It was founded in 1868 and until 1924 was in the possession of the emperors. In 1882, a zoo was opened on its territory, which is the oldest in Japan. The park is home to many temples and museums, the most famous of which are National Museum of Nature and Science, Tokyo National Museum and National Museum of Western Art. Ueno is also famous for its nature, especially the park is good during the cherry blossom season.

I visited this park while traveling in Japan. Got a lot of fun! Spacious alleys, many trees, everything is very well maintained and neatly done! Sakura grows and blossoms in the park, there are various temples and cultural centers. In general, very nice! From the park you can go straight to the central city quarter, it is especially beautiful in the late hours of the day. Recommend!
