I was lucky to see San Marco in all its glory during the day and immersed in the velvet of the Italian night. I will describe only a few places on it. Doge's Palace. It's still morning and there are no tourists. I look around the courtyard and the famous staircase. Photos are not allowed in the palace itself. Some of the stairs can be photographed. However, the interiors can be quite found on the Internet. Very well preserved murals and almost empty rooms. There is almost no furniture. Rows of portraits of the Doges of the Venetian Republic. After wandering around the Palace, I join a group of Chinese and move along the famous Bridge of Sighs to the former prison. The Bridge makes great photos. A prison, like a prison, Casanova's cell from which he made his famous escape across the roofs. Many have read and seen.
For 35 euros, I would not recommend this tour. The guide will speak the usual platitudes (this is the trouble of such places). Visiting Campanela on San Marco is just a lot of fun! There are very few people. Ticket 9 euros (by card), elevator and in front of you is the indescribable beauty of the Venetian lagoon. For me, this is one of my favorite places. If the weather is good, then you will be provided with excellent photos. As always, there are printed copies of what you see above. Everything is numbered and very comfortable. The kids probably don't care too much. Cafe Florian. Even before the first trip, we knew that we would definitely go there. Very beautiful interiors, waiters in white jackets and music. Coffee 6 euros, dessert 12 euros big took one for two. The cafe has a shop where you can buy chocolate, coffee and souvenirs with the Florian brand, but the pleasure is not cheap. I advise those who will be in Venice to definitely drink coffee in this cafe! I bet 10 tons.
