Cavea theater (diameter - 76 m) carved into the rock. The theater is designed for approximately 7,000 spectators. Spectator seats are made according to the Greek custom in the form of a staircase (with steps 0.4 m high and 0.7 m deep); they face north, towards the sea and the Aeolian Islands. Since 1956, in June every year, an art festival has been held in the ancient theater.
