Santi Pietro e Paolo d'Agro is a former monastic Basilian church in the vicinity of Casalvecchio Siculo (province of Messina). In its present form it was built in 1172 and was not rebuilt again. The most important monument of the Arab-Norman style.
The Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul is located in the Peloritani mountains, in the valley of the Agro River, 3 kilometers from Casalvecchio Siculo. The nearest settlements are Casalvecchio Siculo, Sant'Alessio Siculo, Savoca, Santa Teresa di Riva. Due to the difficult transport accessibility, it remains a little-known monument. After restoration work is open to the public; masses are celebrated here periodically by clerics from neighboring Casalvecchio Siculo.
