Forum Romanum, Roman Forum, Foro Romano
Italy, Rome
The Roman Forum is a square in the center of Ancient Rome, along with adjacent buildings. Initially, it housed a market, later it included a comitium (a place for public meetings), a curia (a place for meetings of the Senate) and also acquired political functions. Many buildings of both the ancient Roman and Christian eras have been preserved here.

Or the Italians do not know how to present beautifully, well, somehow they did not feel the spirit of history. Despite the fact that the Pantheon and the Colosseum really liked, the forum is probably the most disappointing place in Rome

The Roman Forum, along with the Colosseum, is the main attraction, perhaps, not only in Rome, but throughout Italy. These ancient ruins are hundreds of years old. They have seen many significant pages of history, survived dozens of great rulers, and now they can tell historians and ordinary tourists about ancient events of the past. Of course, this is one of the first places to visit upon arrival in Rome, which we did. We immediately bought a single ticket to visit the Colosseum, the Forum and Palatine Hill, which is very convenient, since you do not have to queue at the box office separately for each attraction.

I think I met history there. These names are so familiar, they are mentioned so many times so everywhere that it seems as if you are walking around your hometown. It's fantastic.

Good afternoon, I went to Rome from 1.08-27.08. 16 and I want to share my impressions. Rome is a beautiful, ancient city with many architectural monuments. Most of all I liked the Roman Forum, huge, massive buildings, you look at them and you don’t understand how they could build it. I liked it very much, I recommend it to everyone!! !

Good afternoon, I was in Rome on August 23-27.2015. The Roman form is something. When you enter its territory, you understand what a small person you are, and these buildings are so big and strong and probably eternal. You give how at that time they could build it. When I was driving, I thought I would visit and understand everything how and when they were built. But in fact, I had even more questions I had unanswered. This place is a must-sing! If you are in Rome do not be stingy buy a ticket for 25 euros and see.

If you have not visited the Roman Forum, consider that you have not been to Rome. And the Forum is not ruins and not pages on the Internet (an anecdote from life), but the center of ancient Roman civilization. It is better to take a tour with a guide, but if this is not possible, then there is an infinite amount of information on the Forum, and if you wish, you can figure it out yourself (it is even more interesting where what is). One of my favorite places in Rome. And if you can, try to come at sunset, indescribably.
