Catacombs of Saint Sebastian - catacombs in the southern part of Rome on the Appian Way.
At the entrance to the catacombs, a triclia room has been preserved, once located on the surface, where mourners could rest and refresh themselves. In the deeper Christian catacombs is the crypt of St. Sebastian, where the relics of the saint were kept before being transferred to the church. The crypt has been restored, on a part of the ancient column there is a bust of St. Sebastian by Bernini. Many inscriptions are dedicated to the apostles Peter and Paul. Of particular interest are pagan burials, decorated with frescoes.
