Janiculum Hill is named after the two-faced god Janus, whose sanctuary was located here in pre-Christian times. The height of the hill is 87 m., therefore, a magnificent panorama of the whole of Rome opens from here, it is especially beautiful here in the evening, when the city turns into a sea of flickering lights. On this hill there are such objects: the monastery of Sant'Onofrio;
The Monastery of San Pietro in Montorio, built according to legend on the site of the crucifixion of the Apostle Peter;
Garibaldi Monument;
Aqua Paola Fountain and Manfredi Lighthouse.
